This is Golfer Geeks’ 2021 Titleist T100 irons review.
I’m an avid golfer, an 8-ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6), and a frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.
I had the 2021 Titleist T100 & T200 irons all to myself for two weeks. We did time on the range, time on my mat and net at home, and time course time. (one round and counting)
Summary: The 2021 Titleist T100 irons are exceptional in every respect. They look gorgeous, have superb feel, plenty of distance, a splash of forgiveness, and can play any shot you can dream up. There’s nothing they don’t do well. They’re pretty much the standard in low-handicap cavity back irons.
In this review of the 2021 Titleist T100 irons, I discuss my experience with the clubs, unique features and benefits, as well as customer reviews and potential alternatives.

My Experience with the T100 irons
Exactly what I expected…I now want to own these clubs. A lot.
My range session wasn’t the best because my swing isn’t reliable right now. On me, not the clubs. (of course)
So, I had to rely on my rounds on the course to see what I knew they could do. I played 9 holes on back-to-back days.
1st round the T100s did great, me, not so much. (at least in the first round) I made a lot of marginal swings yielding marginal contact, with a few solid swings and solid shots mixed in.
The first shots I hit with the T100s were on the second hole, a par 5.
- I hit a layup with an 8-iron. I caught it thin and towards the toe. It came out low with a slight draw and ended up pretty much where I was aiming anyway. I then pulled the pitching wedge from 126. I pured it, but tugged it about a yard left of the green pin-high.
After that, I had a few shots from downhill lies with little grass under the ball or in between patches of grass. (We’re in the midst of a drought, so, to be expected)
I had to hit punch shots and aim the ball to openings in the green.
- I hit a nice little low draw on the first one and ended up just past pin-high right.
- I punched one dead straight on the second and ended up on the green left and under the hole.
2nd 9-hole round was a different story. I figured out my swing a little better and started flushing the ball. Not every shot, but a lot more than the prior round. They felt solid and slightly soft through impact and the ball got up quickly with a high trajectory and my standard tight draw.
I made a point of pulling the long irons to see what I could get away with. I hit a number of 4, 5, and 6-irons between the screws and a few not so between the screws.
The solid shots launched on a nice medium-high trajectory and held beautifully through the wind. They didn’t get knocked around much in the air. Slight misses weren’t overly punished, but I did lose half a club to a club.
What did I learn about the T100s (that I already knew)?
They are really stable through impact and will deliver the shot if you deliver the swing.
Also, they are not overly punishing for minor mishits and will help you get on or stay around the green.
An added bonus I discovered is the pitching wedge is great around the greens. I felt I had precise control on pitches and chips and the ball felt great coming off the face. (I’m in the process of learning to chip and pitch with less loft)

Our Verdict
The T100s are flawless. (That felt strange to write) They just are. They do exactly what they are designed to do and they do it exceptionally well. They are superb clubs if you’ve got the game.
My #1 suggestion is to test before you buy. Either at your local golf store or take advantage of Global Golf’s Utry trial program. I use it and recommend it.
